Welcome to Maybe Logic Academy! Thanks so much for joining our community - we hope and expect you will thoroughly enjoy your MLA course. Expect a MLA registration email the Sunday prior to the course (if you haven't received this by the first day of the course, please email us). At that time, you'll be able to register with the course site and dig into the material. But in the meantime, please register a MLA account (and login), if you haven't already, and feel free to participate in the MLA Forum. To register a MLA account, go to Home at the MLA Campus and click on Register in the LOGIN module. Then fill in your name and email address and chose a username and password. Your MLA account works across all MLA course sites and the MLA Forum. Below are the basic schematics of the courses, but if you ever have any questions, concerns or suggestions, please email us - we love feedback. Each course has its own secure online site separate from the Academy Forum. You are welcome to enroll in any of the other courses at anytime. And though it's probably advantageous to enroll at the beginning of the course's start-date, it would be fairly easy to catch up if enrolled mid-course. The basic structure of the courses is the instructor posts the week's assignments at the beginning of the week on Sunday/Monday. This assignment could include readings, exercises, study questions, web links, meditations, audio downloads, etc. Discussions then ensue and develop in the course's forums. The instructor will direct the forum discussions by various postings throughout the week. Any "live" events like a chatroom gathering will be scheduled at times most convenient to everyone. But if you can't make the scheduled time you won't miss out on any of the content as we will record everything and make it available on the course site. There are no grades or official marks of accomplishment. Essentially the more you put into the course (i.e. doing the readings, exercises, etc. and contributing to the course forums) the more you'll get out of it. Sharing your insights, perspectives and experiences with other Academy members is priceless. Though each course is designed in detail and led by the instructor, MLA courses tend to be experiments in decentralized control. This student-centered approach tends to foster an environment where each student's insights and questions are valued and help shape the content and direction of the course. We encourage you to signup for the MLA eList: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Updates, new courses and offers for the Academy and other goodies and content are transmitted on a monthly basis. Congratulations and thanks for joining the Academy. Please pass the word of the MLA on to your friends and foes - the more engaged and intelligent folks in the Academy, the better everyone's experience will likely be. amor et hilaritas - Academy Admin
